OK, I am glad to see a discussion on the issue that doesn't include the racist vocabulary that I often find on the internet. I hear and see the division between Latino and Anglo people. To me, this is just further evidence of it.
In the discussion, I was intrigued at how Lou Dobbs would not talk about "hate speech." Even the debate itself, showed no real effort of cooperative arguementation. If we are to find solutions to immigration, parties must be able to present their perspectives. We are all feeling the divide over the issue. Again, division in words, leads to division in life.
I hope we all find a way to build bridges, rather than burn them.
